It never ceases to amaze me just how privileged us photographers are; We are often the first people to meet and hold a precious newborn baby, we get to see the birthday boy or girl before the guests arrive and we are witness to moments that no-one else sees.
I have loved photography from a very early age. One of my favourite memories was getting my first ever digital camera, it had a whopping 1.2 megapixels, took terrible photos… and went everywhere with me.
From there my passion and love for capturing moments has grown, and the best thing I have ever done is take a leap from ‘hobbyist’ to ‘serious’.
Taking photos for me means capturing and preserving a memory forever. I view life through the eye of a lens and to me, everything is a picture waiting to happen.
“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” – Elliot Erwitt
I hope one day I get to meet you, reader, and capture your beautiful life.
